EHS Specialist, 80-100%
Location: Sins | Start date: by arrangement

What are your responsibilities?

• Representation internally and externally as the officer for safety and health. You act as a link between management and the line.

• Planning and actively developing the areas of occupational safety and health protection.

• Support in maintaining the ISO 45001 certification.

• Advising and being the point of contact for all managers on occupational safety and health protection, including regular training for supervisors and employees.

• Support in the implementation and maintenance of a medical and emergency service, including training and exercises such as evacuation drills and various alarm drills.

• Hazardous materials officer responsible for the proper and legally compliant disposal of special waste.

What do you bring?

• Completed technical basic education with further training in occupational safety and environmental management or ASGS specialist

• Further training as a federal certified hazardous materials officer

• Several years of experience in safety and health in a manufacturing environment

• Knowledge of ISO 45001 and ISO 14001, as well as the EKAS guideline 6508

• Fluent German, English skills are an advantage

• Basic IT affinity, good knowledge of the MS Office package, IQSoft is an advantage

• Training in fire protection, explosion protection, medical and emergency services is an advantage

• Level-appropriate communication skills and persuasiveness

• Independence, willingness to learn, proactivity, analytical and networked thinking
