Are you excited about an interesting task in a technical environment? Then you could be the right fit for us. To strengthen our team of experts in the Boiler Inspection Department of SVTI in Wallisellen, we are looking for an Expert in Pressure Equipment 100 % to start immediately or by agreement.
Your Responsibilities
Reviewing, assessing, and processing applications for modifications and repairs of pressure equipment subject to inspection
Preparing draft and final inspection reports as well as technical assessments with traceable assessment logic
Conducting acceptance tests in the context of modifications and repairs to reportable installations, e.g., boiler safety controls
Providing technical support to inspectors on complex technical and normative issues
Coordinating the deployed experts considering qualifications and workload
Participating in and leading internal expert groups
Your Profile
Completed studies in mechanical engineering (level HF or FH)
Professional experience in plant construction, ideally related to welding technology
Experience with steam and hot water boilers as well as knowledge of relevant standards and regulations
Very good written and spoken German skills and good French skills
Independent, structured, and responsible working style
Driving license category B and willingness to occasionally work on-site with clients within Switzerland
Good physical condition, as inspections may also involve work in confined spaces (e.g., entering containers)
