Aletsch Bahnen AG (ABAG) is one of the largest mountain railway companies in the Upper Valais. In winter, we operate 36 transport facilities and 104 kilometers of slopes. In summer, we employ about 200, and in winter about 370 employees.

For our experienced technical team, we are looking for an engaged all-rounder with technical flair, who feels at home in two exciting worlds, starting immediately or by agreement.

Employee Snowmaking and Workshop 80-100% (m/f/d)

Your Tasks

Piste Vehicle Mechanics

• Maintenance, repair, and servicing of our piste vehicles

• Troubleshooting and technical support during the winter season

• Assisting in the planning and execution of summer revisions

• General workshop tasks and spare parts management

Snowmaking

• Operation, monitoring, and maintenance of snow generators and pumping stations

• Responsibility for the technical operational readiness of the entire snowmaking system

• Support during revisions and technical operations outside the season

Your Profile

• Technical understanding & interest in mechanics, electronics, hydraulics

• Training as a mechanic (agricultural machinery, commercial vehicles, etc.) is an advantage – but not a must

• Resilience, flexibility & willingness to work shifts and weekends

• Confident skiing, even at night

• Team player with joy in working in the mountains and in all weather

• Good physical condition (endurance, mountain experience, and weatherproof)

• Independent, reliable, and solution-oriented working style

• Driving license category B

• German language skills
