Specialist in Social Pedagogy for Adult Living
Workload 80% to 90%
Your main tasks
You care for and accompany 6 clients with cognitive, psychological, and physical disabilities, some with challenging behaviors
You enable the clients of the residential group to participate in social life together with your team members
You enrich daily life with structured activities and support the personal development and independence of the clients
You take responsibility for the design of the social pedagogical process and for interdisciplinary exchange with internal and external specialists, relatives, and legal representatives
You contribute to achieving departmental and operational goals as well as to the further development of the Schürmatt Foundation
You take on the role of vocational trainer for a FaBe trainee
What you bring
Training as a specialist in care or as a social pedagogue, as well as experience in supporting and caring for people with disabilities
Professionalism and knowledge in pedagogical action
Patience, respect, empathy, and high assertiveness
Strong psychological and physical resilience
Service and customer orientation
Conscientious work ethic and high sense of responsibility
Conflict and reflection ability
Willingness to work irregular hours (no on-call sleeping)
Completed vocational trainer course or willingness to complete it
Good IT user skills (Office 365, easyDOK)
Ideally, a driving license B
