Who are we
Founded in 1807, Musik Hug is one of the most traditional music stores in the world. A team of around 140 employees at 6 locations in Switzerland works daily for our music-loving customers. Consultation & Sales of Wind Instruments & Harps:
Active consultation of our customers regarding wind instruments, harps, and accessories – from beginners to professional musicians
Identifying customer needs and jointly finding the suitable instrument (purchase, rental, or rent-to-own)
Creating offers, processing sales, and ensuring professional sales documentation
Maintaining relationships with existing customers and building new customer relationships
Actively managing the harp range (pedal harps, lever harps, etc.) including accessories and rental instruments
Customer Care & Service
Receiving service and repair orders for wind instruments and harps
Close collaboration with the workshop and scheduling for repairs, adjustments, and services
Responding to customer inquiries by phone and in writing
Ensuring a courteous, solution-oriented customer service – on-site, by phone, and email
Assisting in inventory management (incoming goods, labeling, stock management) for wind instruments, harps, and accessories
Maintaining and presenting the wind instrument and harp department so that it always appears inviting, well-kept, and up-to-date
Participating in orders and assortment management in collaboration with purchasing
Teamwork & Organization
Close collaboration with a dedicated sales team
Participation in internal training and product training
Support for promotions, events, and activities in the music store (e.g., harp events, wind workshops)
Who are you
Completed sales training (retail) or experience in a comparable sales role
Ideally, you play a wind instrument and/or harp and are knowledgeable about instruments and accessories
Enjoyment in active sales and personal consultation of our customers
High service orientation and a winning, well-groomed appearance
Good German language skills, both spoken and written; additional languages are an advantage
You work reliably, independently, and also appreciate teamwork
