Swan is an internationally active SME based in the Zurich Oberland, developing and producing high-quality measuring and control devices for online water analysis. We employ around 350 staff at 15 locations worldwide and are known for our high quality in various industries such as drinking and wastewater, power plants, pharmaceuticals, semiconductors, cooling and pure water, as well as steam and condensate.

We are looking for

With this newly created position, we are placing a clear focus on efficiency and investment activities in the area of technology and operations. As a staff unit with a direct reporting line to the Group CTO, you will plan and lead cross-departmental optimization projects. In addition to conceptual work, you will also take on the operational implementation of key projects and achieve measurable results. You will be part of an innovative Swiss technology company and work closely with dedicated colleagues.

We offer you interesting tasks

Responsibility for planning, controlling, and prioritizing efficiency and investment activities in the area of technology and operations
Initiation and leadership of cross-departmental optimization projects in development, production, and organization
Communication and change management within the framework of change processes
Leadership and motivation of project teams as well as coordination of collaboration with internal and external partners
Operational implementation of optimization and efficiency projects until completion
Application of Lean tools and methods directly in the affected areas to introduce sustainable improvements
Close collaboration with operations, development, product, and quality management in implementing measures
Clear result orientation with visible improvements in quality, costs, lead times, or organization
Support for the Group CTO with technical expertise, data analysis, and preparation of decisions

That's why we want you

Completed technical degree (FH/University) or comparable education
Several years of experience in project management and process optimization
Strong analytical skills as well as a structured, solution-oriented working style
Training in Lean Six Sigma and experience in the manufacturing technical industry
Lateral leadership skills and team spirit
Experience in dealing with change processes
Very good German and English skills
Willingness to travel to international branches of SWAN for project support and implementation on-site (5-10%)
