As a Swiss engineering and EMS service provider, we have been supporting startups, SMEs, and corporations in key industries since 1982, particularly in medical technology, industrial automation, as well as sensor technology and measurement technology. At Iftest, we accompany customers from the first idea through embedded hardware and software to series production. Your conversations do not end with presentations, but with products in the market.

To strategically expand our business in the area of Engineering and Electronic Manufacturing Services (EMS), we are looking for an experienced, entrepreneurial-minded personality in technical sales.

You are not selling concepts – but marketable electronic solutions.

Your Role

  • You identify, acquire, and develop customers for demanding engineering and manufacturing projects.

  • You build long-term customer relationships and advise technical and commercial decision-makers throughout the entire product lifecycle.

  • You are responsible for preparing offers in close collaboration with development, purchasing, and production.

  • You actively shape market engagement, support marketing activities, and represent Iftest at trade fairs, industry events, and webinars.

  • You primarily work in the field (approx. 60%).

Who We Are Looking For:

No catalog sales, but consulting-intensive project acquisition.

  • Technically savvy person (technician, electrical engineer, or comparable education)

  • At least 5 years of experience in sales of engineering, development, or manufacturing services (project-based B2B).

  • Very good understanding of embedded electronics (HW/SW) and electronics manufacturing.

  • Confident demeanor at technical and management levels, including negotiation and closing.

  • High initiative, structure, and entrepreneurial thinking.

  • Knowledge in regulated environments (e.g., ISO 13485, FDA 21 CFR 820) is a plus.

  • Very good German and English skills.
