What this job entails

• Manufacturing tanks and apparatus: Fabricating tanks, containers, apparatus, and complex stainless steel constructions.

• Welding demanding materials: Welding pipelines, tanks, and apparatus made of stainless steel, duplex, and special materials using TIG and, depending on the application, orbital welding processes.

• Processing components precisely: Preparing, tacking, and welding components according to technical drawings, isometries, and manufacturing specifications with a focus on quality.

• Installing systems at the customer’s site: Installing process engineering systems, tanks, and pipelines at our customers, adhering to relevant standards – especially EN ISO 9606-1 – and conducting visual, measurement, and quality controls diligently.

• Further developing manufacturing together: Collaborating closely with production, assembly, and engineering, actively contributing practical knowledge, and shaping the further development of our manufacturing.

Especially exciting
At the end of the year, we will put a new automatic welding system into operation. You will work with state-of-the-art manufacturing technology and actively shape the next development step at ISTinox.

What you bring

• Training: Completed training as a plant and apparatus builder, metalworker, or a comparable qualification.

• Experience in plant construction: Practical experience in tank, apparatus, or pipeline construction.

• Secure welding skills: Proficient practice in TIG welding of stainless steel; experience in orbital welding is a plus but not a must.

• Technical understanding: Confident handling of technical drawings and isometries.

• Focus on quality: Enjoyment of high-quality stainless steel processing, a high standard of quality, and an independent, careful, and precise working style.

• Team spirit and responsibility: Reliability, team spirit, and a sense of responsibility.

• Open to modern technology: Willingness to work with modern manufacturing technology.
