The Schürmatt Foundation is a competence center for unique special educational services in the Canton of Aargau. We employ around 440 employees at 13 locations. They are mainly involved in the education, support, and care of people with disabilities.

Back from your trip, between two adventures, already retired and still full of energy, or simply have nothing planned for the next few months?

Urgent support needed – maybe just you?

Due to an unforeseen vacancy, we are looking for temporary support immediately until the end of January 2027 with a workload of 50–80%.

Your main tasks

• You care for and support 5 adults with cognitive, physical, and/or mental disabilities in a mixed living group.

• You ensure individual and professional care according to the needs and resources of the clients and enable their participation in social life.

• You enrich daily life with structured activities and support them in their personal development.

What you bring

• Completed training as a Health Specialist EFZ, Care Specialist EFZ, Social Educator, or Registered Nurse.

• Experience and interest in the care and support of people with disabilities.

• High physical and mental resilience as well as patience and empathy.

• Flexibility and joy in work.

• Service and customer orientation.

• Conscientious work ethic and high sense of responsibility.

• Team spirit, strong communication skills, and a reflective attitude.
