The University of Teacher Education Zug (PH Zug) is an educational institution with a personal atmosphere, hosting over 600 students and 140 staff members. The Mathematics department team is active in all service areas of PH Zug and is looking for a committed person to join from September 1, 2027, who would like to contribute to didactic teaching and, depending on the profile, also in mentoring.
These exciting tasks await you
Conducting courses in Mathematics Didactics in the Kindergarten/Lower Secondary and/or Primary Education programs (depending on profile)
Contributing to the further development of mathematics didactics training
If interested and with a suitable profile:
Taking on a mentorship in the Bachelor's program for Primary Education
Supervising Bachelor's theses and diploma examinations
Activities in the module "Mathematical Learning" in the Master's program in Special Education and/or in teacher training
You bring the following
Master's degree in Mathematics Didactics/Mathematics or comparable qualification related to the job profile or the intention to obtain a corresponding degree
Teaching diploma, ideally with higher education didactic experience and practical experience (target level reference)
Doctorate in Mathematics (Didactics) is an advantage
