Would you like to apply your skills in a varied and challenging environment while supporting people in a difficult life situation? In the team of collective accommodations of the city of Winterthur, which cares for around 350 people at three locations, you will take on the following tasks starting from November 1, 2026, or by agreement, initially fixed-term until August 31, 2027:
Your Tasks
Ensuring daily care and support for residents with individual challenges
Ensuring a flawless flow of information through collaboration with case managers, writing progress notes, and other administrative tasks
Enforcement of house rules as well as situation-appropriate action in conflicts by initiating preventive measures
Organization of learning and leisure activities
Your Profile
Completed vocational training in the care sector and/or experience working with people in an emergency situation, ideally in an asylum accommodation
Intercultural competencies and enjoyment in collaborating with people from a migration background
Resilience, conflict resolution skills, and flexibility, as well as willingness to work shifts (without night, weekend, and holiday shifts)
German language skills at least at level B2; knowledge of foreign languages is an advantage
