Employee: Material Acceptance 100%

Your workplace is located in the heart of Zurich on the goods station area in District 4. Here in our recycling plant Zurich RWZ, we sort, shred, screen, inspect, press, load, and maneuver waste and recyclable materials to reintroduce them into the material cycle. We process mineral construction debris on-site into recycling granulate, which we then use as a substitute for gravel in the production of construction concrete.

Your tasks

• Warmly welcome customers and advise them during delivery

• Identify, check, and declare waste and recyclable materials

• Assign materials to the correct unloading locations

• Triage materials and respond correctly in case of uncertainties

• Operate forklifts

• Ensure order, cleanliness, and occupational safety in the acceptance area

Your profile

• Experience in recycling, waste disposal, industrial operations, or a craft-technical environment

• Knowledge of various waste and recyclable materials or willingness to acquire this knowledge

• Good German language skills

• Safe handling of forklifts

• Ideally, a valid forklift license

• Responsible and independent working style

• Friendly interaction with customers, partners, and colleagues

• Team player, reliable, and attentive even during busy times
