The nine primary school units in Herisau comprise around 1,250 learners distributed across the entire municipality. The primary schools are currently managed by four school leaders together with the respective heads.

The secondary school Herisau has about 450 learners and is organized by a school management team and the grade leaders. Additionally, from the 3rd grade onwards, integration classes are held, where children with a migration background are taught until they are reintegrated into the regular class system.

Due to the expansion of the school management, the education department is looking for a committed individual for the

School Management Cycle 1 and 2 (100 %)
The position can also be exercised in job sharing (e.g. 40:60 / 50:50).

The school Herisau continuously develops its leadership structures.

To meet the increasing demands in leadership, school, and quality development, the existing school management will be specifically strengthened.

In this role, you will work closely with the existing school management team and jointly take responsibility for leadership, organization, and school development in Cycle 1 and 2.
