The Regional Medical Service (RAD) Bern, Freiburg, Solothurn examines the insurance medical requirements for the cantonal IV offices regarding the entitlement to disability insurance benefits.

What you can achieve with us

• You assess the work and reintegration capacity of our insured persons from a medical perspective based on the documentation or your own examinations.

• With your expertise, you ensure that the entitlement to benefits is determined quickly, efficiently, and professionally.

• To this end, you write insurance medical opinions, collaborate with treating physicians, and advise and support our case managers and insurance specialists on medical issues.

• If interested, there is the possibility to take on additional specialized tasks such as project work or training activities.

What skills are important to us

• You are a specialist with several years of professional experience and are interested in social insurance law and insurance medical issues.

• You appreciate complex matters, make targeted decisions, and enjoy taking responsibility. You also demonstrate a high level of service orientation.

• You enjoy collaborating with individuals from different professional fields. With your constructive and helpful nature, you contribute to a good team atmosphere.

• We are a bilingual (German-French) company, so active knowledge of the other language is desired.

Working Hours

Annual working hours (42 hours/week), possibility to work part-time and remotely, paid breaks

Vacation

At least 25 days of vacation per year, 28 days from the age of 45, and 33 days from the age of 55. Possibility of unpaid leave

Salary

Cantonal salary system, gender-neutral and transparent salary policy. Full salary during parental leave, military service, civil protection, and civil service

Social Insurances

Over-parity participation in contributions to the Bern Pension Fund, covering half of the premium for non-occupational accident, supplementary accident, and daily sickness insurance
