Team Leader: Client Accounting 80 - 100%

In this versatile leadership role, you will take on responsibility for a central area of commercial support for the Social Services of Winterthur starting January 1, 2027, or by agreement. Together with your team, you will ensure accurate client accounting and reliable financial processes for the main departments of social assistance and asylum social assistance. You will continuously drive quality and development forward and actively shape collaboration with internal and external interfaces.

Your Responsibilities

• Leading the client accounting team and promoting reliable and effective collaboration

• Ensuring accurate client accounting, including quality assurance of central billing as well as monthly and annual financial statements in coordination with controlling & finance and the city accounting

• Responsibility for the collection of claims and refunds as well as ensuring the re-invoicing for asylum social assistance

• Planning and managing workflows and resources, as well as being responsible for qualified support

• Further development of processes and quality standards, as well as representing client accounting in cross-cutting issues and projects

Your Profile

• Commercial basic training and further education in accounting

• Several years of professional experience in finance and accounting and initial leadership experience, preferably in the field of social assistance or asylum social assistance

• Strong analytical and networked thinking as well as a good understanding of processes and interrelationships

• Enjoy questioning the status quo, developing solutions, and implementing changes together with others

• Clear and appreciative communication, assertiveness, teamwork, and a high service orientation
