You independently code inpatient cases from all specialist areas according to SwissDRG and ensure high quality and accuracy.
You work closely with doctors, nursing staff, and the finance department, proactively clarifying medical and billing-related questions.
You analyze challenging coding cases, identify ambiguities, and develop comprehensible solutions.
You competently handle payer rejections and ensure correct, transparent case processing.
You contribute your knowledge and ideas and actively shape coding standards and internal processes.
What distinguishes you
You have several years of professional experience in medical coding according to SwissDRG - ideally with additional training as a federal medical coder.
You have a basic medical education, for example in nursing or as a doctor.
You have a solid command of medical terminology and can assess complex medical relationships comprehensively.
Your working style is structured, careful, independent, and solution- as well as quality-oriented. You like to take responsibility, contribute your expertise, and appreciate professional exchange and teamwork.
You are IT-savvy and have very good user knowledge, ideally in ID DIACOS, Business Central (BC), KISIM, and MS Office.
