Group Leader Nursing University Clinic for Geriatrics, 80–100 %

We are looking for a motivated and committed individual for the University Clinic for Geriatrics at the Waid location, starting immediately or by arrangement.

Responsibilities

• You are responsible for the professional and patient-centered care of acutely geriatric patients in a dedicated and motivated leadership team. You are responsible for planning and implementing the nursing process.

• You support the Nursing Management of the UKA in the professional, personnel, and administrative management of the ward and take on the leadership of your own team.

• You coordinate and promote intra- and interdisciplinary collaboration.

• You are responsible for the economical use of available resources.

• Together with the Nursing Management, group leaders, specialist advisors, and trainers, you support and promote – based on the vision of Shared Governance / Shared Leadership – the further development of nursing as well as safety and quality on the ward.

Profile

• Training as a qualified nursing professional HF/FH with work experience in a Swiss acute hospital

• Leadership experience is an advantage

• Enjoyment and interest in leadership and organizational issues

• High motivation, readiness to engage, and commitment

• Strong communication skills and service orientation

• Willingness and enjoyment to work in a Shared Governance team and actively shape the culture

• Entrepreneurial thinking and action as well as a high sense of responsibility

• Willingness to work shifts
