Both pairs of shoes suit me extraordinarily well. And yet, I could not say no when I was offered a position as PDL. So, I am leaving the azwa with a heavy heart at the end of the year.
I sincerely hope that a great successor will be found for my position as Group Leader!
How about you?
The azwa is a modern house for 90 elderly people in need of care, divided into two buildings and four living groups. The living group for people with dementia includes 13 single rooms and a spacious protected garden with a rabbit hutch. Innovation, reliability, respect, humor, and togetherness are important to us. Our leadership understanding can be summarized in a short sentence: together to the best solution.
As a Group Leader, I work closely with the specialist responsible for the living group, Kornelia. She is responsible for ensuring the quality of care and all nursing matters, while I am responsible for management tasks such as creating monthly and vacation plans, employee discussions… Of course, I also work in direct care, and as a WGL, I am represented in the management team.
