Your Contribution

• Conduct performance diagnostics for swimming and other aquatic sports: Manage and apply video analysis and force measurement systems (especially in swimming, but also in diving, water polo, artistic swimming), develop and conduct standardized test protocols and progress diagnostics

• Manage technical facilities: Prepare and operate swimming channels, video analysis, and force measurement systems, check, calibrate, and evaluate measurement systems, ensure first-level support

• Support training measures: Offer, conduct, and evaluate testing procedures on-site, communicate with athletes and coaches

• Ensure data management and data protection: Process, structure, and store personal, performance, video, and research data in compliance with legal regulations

• Collaborate interprofessionally: Ensure the interface between national and international associations and sports science institutions

What Makes You Unique

• University degree in sports technology, data science, engineering, or computer science with a sports focus and a strong affinity for competitive swimming. Competence in diagnostics, data analysis, visualization, and data interpretation

• Proficient in handling technical devices: Systems for video analysis as well as understanding of force measurement, sensor technology, and measurement chains, programming knowledge (e.g., Python, MATLAB, R)

• High service orientation, good communication skills, enjoyment of interdisciplinary collaboration

• Great independence and initiative, solution-oriented, analytical thinking, and precise working style

• Active knowledge of two official languages – Italian is an advantage – as well as good English skills
