The Schürmatt Foundation is a competence center for unique special educational services in the canton of Aargau. We employ around 440 employees at 13 locations. The majority of these are involved in the education, support, and care of people with disabilities.
We are looking for a competent individual for the night shift starting September 1, 2026, or by agreement at the external locations as

Your main tasks
You take sole responsibility during the night for the care and support of 15 – 20 clients with cognitive and physical disabilities, as well as some challenging behaviors
You plan and carry out night shift tasks and conduct regular patrols
You act competently in emergency situations and adhere to safety regulations
You document client work in easyDOK
You are responsible for the controlled distribution of medications
You work interdisciplinary with the day shift
What you bring
Completed training as a specialist in care or health / training as a health and social assistant / completed course as a nursing assistant with at least one year of professional experience
Willingness to work alone at night
Good knowledge in the care field and experience in supporting and caring for people with disabilities
Patience, respect, empathy, and high assertiveness
Conscientious work style and high sense of responsibility
Conflict and reflection skills
Good German language skills in spoken and written form
Computer user skills (Office 365)
