Your tasks
Conducting psychotherapeutic assessments and treatments for gay, queer, and trans people with complex mental and psychosocial issues
Individual psychotherapeutic support with queer-affirmative and trauma-sensitive approaches
Interdisciplinary collaboration with doctors, nursing, social counseling, and other professionals at Checkpoint
Participation in case discussions and joint treatment planning in the interprofessional team
Contributing to projects and the further development of services in the area of queer health at Checkpoint
What you bring
Completed master's degree in psychology and a federally recognized psychotherapy title (completed or already very advanced training)
Strong openness, sensitivity, and genuine interest in diverse life realities, especially in the context of different sexual orientations and gender identities
Ideally, experience working with queer clientele or a strong motivation to delve into topics such as trans health and substance use
Independent and responsible working style, high communication skills, as well as resilience and flexibility in daily work
Enjoyment in direct contact with a diverse community
