At the Central Contact Point, we are the first address for people with concerns in the areas of (asylum) social assistance. The core of our work is the eligibility assessment: We provide information, take on new cases, and clarify the basis for further action. Do you feel addressed? Your Tasks

• Assessment of eligibility for economic (asylum) social assistance

• Provision of personal and economic assistance according to the Social Assistance Act and Asylum Care Ordinance

• Advising and promoting the independence of clients

• Drafting applications and decisions as well as record-keeping and general administration

• Enforcement of claims against social insurances and other third parties

Your Profile

• FH degree in Social Work, supplemented with a commercial education

• Initial practical experience in statutory social assistance and broad knowledge of social insurance

• Experience in dealing with demanding and rapidly changing situations as well as the ability to assess urgencies, respond promptly, and maintain an overview

• Enjoyment of an independent and flexible working style within a team

• Foreign language skills are an advantage
