Your Tasks
Assessment of eligibility for economic (asylum) social assistance
Provision of personal and economic assistance according to the Social Assistance Act and Asylum Care Ordinance
Advising and promoting the independence of clients
Drafting applications and decisions as well as record-keeping and general administration
Enforcement of claims against social insurances and other third parties
Your Profile
FH degree in Social Work, supplemented with a commercial education
Initial practical experience in statutory social assistance and broad knowledge of social insurance
Experience in dealing with demanding and rapidly changing situations as well as the ability to assess urgencies, respond promptly, and maintain an overview
Enjoyment of an independent and flexible working style within a team
Foreign language skills are an advantage
