We are looking for a specialist for the
Care of people with challenging behaviors
Workload 40-80%, location Zetzwil
Your main tasks
You will care for and accompany 5 – 6 women and men with cognitive, psychological, and physical disabilities with challenging behaviors.
You will ensure individual care for clients and support them with daily structuring activities in their personal development.
You will enable clients, together with other team members, to participate in social life within their capabilities.
You will take responsibility for the socio-pedagogical process design and for interdisciplinary exchange with internal and external specialists, relatives, and legal representatives.
You will work towards achieving departmental and operational goals as well as the further development of the Schürmatt Foundation.
You bring the following
Completed training (FABE/FAGE/Social Pedagogy/Psychiatric Nursing or similar) and/or several years of experience in accompanying and caring for people with disabilities and challenging behaviors.
Professionalism and knowledge in pedagogical action.
Patience, respect, empathy, and high assertiveness.
Strong psychological and physical resilience.
Service and customer orientation.
Conscientious working style and high sense of responsibility.
Conflict and reflection skills.
Willingness to work irregular hours (shift work, no on-call sleeping).
Good IT user skills (Office 365, easyDOK).
Driving license B (ideally).
