Do you want to take on responsibility and sustainably develop adult protection? The professional guardianship is part of the social services sector. With around 65 employees, they support more than 1200 adults within the framework of adult protection mandates. In this key position, they work closely with the KESB and the social network and develop the organization in a future-oriented manner. In view of the retirement of the current position holder, we are looking for a qualified and experienced leader starting in spring 2027.
Your Tasks
Strategic and operational leadership of the main department
Ensuring the professional and effective implementation of official measures in adult protection law
Further development of the organization (structures, culture, and expertise), processes, and control instruments
Constructive collaboration with KESB Winterthur-Andelfingen and the social network
Coaching the four department heads
Active participation in the management of social services
Your Profile
Several years of leadership and management experience in adult protection and administration
(Professional) university degree, preferably in social work, supplemented by a qualified management/leadership training
Proven track record in project/change management and organizational development, especially in the digitization of processes and services
Understanding of political contexts, societal dimensions, and public interest
Strong solution orientation and conflict resolution skills
