This is the travel baggage you bring
University degree in (engineering) geology, environmental sciences, environmental engineering, or a comparable field
Solid experience in integral natural hazard management
Strategic thinking and experience in addressing conceptual and operational natural hazard issues
Pragmatic, independent working style with the willingness to go into detail when necessary
In-depth knowledge in planning, controlling, and monitoring measures, controls, and maintenance work
Ability to assess natural hazards and evaluate risks for safe railway operations
Enjoyment in collaborating with internal and external stakeholders
Passion for independently developing the natural hazards field
Confidence in moving and working in the field
Interest in the further development of the natural hazards topic in our GIS
Knowledge of other environmental issues related to railway infrastructure, particularly in the area of emissions (noise and vibrations) is an advantage
