Head of Care and Nursing (80 - 100%), Oberi Senior Center
The Aging and Care Department of the City of Winterthur offers a diverse range of services for the population of Winterthur in its five senior centers and through Spitex.
For our long-term care at the Oberi Senior Center, which provides a well-kept home for 166 residents, we are looking for a committed, communicative, and experienced leader, starting on November 1, 2026, or by arrangement, who brings not only a respectful and clear attitude but also heart and humor to their tasks.
Your Responsibilities
Ensure target group-oriented, professional, and economical care and nursing while adhering to internal guidelines
Lead and further develop the nursing staff as well as the care and nursing area in collaboration with professional development
Responsible for a needs-based staffing ratio and efficient deployment planning while adhering to the agreed budget
Represent the site management in their absence
Participate in cross-departmental projects and professional topics as well as coordinate and collaborate with the care and nursing management of the senior centers, Spitex, and other relevant stakeholders
Your Profile
Completed nursing education at the tertiary level and a solid leadership training in nursing management
Several years of professional and leadership experience in a comparable role, preferably in the aging and care sector
Service-oriented, respectful attitude with the aim of providing residents with a livable and lovable home
Clear, structured leadership personality with high social and communication skills, assertiveness, and a keen eye for development and improvement potentials
Business understanding, ideally complemented by InterRAI-LTCF knowledge, as well as enjoyment of interprofessional collaboration
