To strengthen our purchasing team at the Flawil location, we are looking for a

Purchaser (100%)

Your Tasks

• Co-development and implementation of purchasing strategies as well as conducting market and supplier analyses

• Conducting negotiations (price and delivery conditions) with national and international suppliers

• Leading and participating in procurement projects and optimization initiatives (Kaizen) as well as advising other departments

• Independent management of operational procurement including ordering, production orders, and delivery date monitoring

• Processing customer service orders, express orders, as well as defect reports and complaints

• Taking on administrative special tasks and professional representation within the team

Your Profile

• Commercial or technical training with further education in purchasing or supply chain management or equivalent qualification

• At least 3 years of professional experience in operational and strategic purchasing, ideally in an industrial environment or mechanical engineering

• Proficient use of ERP systems (MS Dynamics Navision), Microsoft Office; knowledge of Power BI and Power Query is an advantage

• Very good English skills in spoken and written form; additional languages are an advantage

• Strong communication and negotiation skills as well as analytical thinking ability

• Independent, structured, and solution-oriented working style with high personal responsibility
