Head of Regional Social Service BBL / Member of the Management Board 80 - 100 % starting December 1, 2026, or by agreement
You will lead the Regional Social Service BBL and, as a member of the management board of the municipality of Biberist, shape the future of a modern and effective social organization together with your colleagues.
Your tasks:
Personnel, professional, and organizational leadership of the Regional Social Service
Strategic further development of the social service
Ensuring effective collaboration and coordination between the Regional Social Commission, the lead municipality, the contracting municipalities, and the Regional Social Service
Maintaining and further developing collaboration with authorities, social regions, as well as social institutions and other partner organizations
Preparation and processing of reports, evaluations, and decision-making bases
Leading and participating in projects as well as implementing organizational and process developments
Possibly taking over operational case work (e.g., in the areas of social assistance and child and adult protection)
Active participation in the management board and contributing to the further development of the municipality
What we expect from you:
University degree in social work (University/FH) or an equivalent qualification with relevant professional experience
Further training and several years of experience in leadership and project management
In-depth expertise and practical experience in one or more areas of responsibility, particularly social assistance and/or child and adult protection
Strong service, solution, and quality orientation
High resilience as well as pronounced organizational and conceptual skills
High social competence, leadership strength, and skill in dealing with different stakeholders
Confident written and persuasive oral communication skills
Empathy, integrity, and a respectful approach to people in different life situations
