Materials Tester 100%

Your workplace is located in the heart of Zurich on the freight yard area in district 4. Here in our recycling plant Zurich RWZ, we sort, crush, sieve, screen, press, load, and shunt waste and valuable materials to reintroduce them into the material cycle. We prepare mineral construction waste on-site into recycling granulate, which we then use as a substitute for gravel in the production of structural concrete.

Your tasks

• Material testing according to regulations and standards in the areas of gravel, concrete, and recycling

• Quality assurance and further development of concrete and recycling products as well as their production

• Regular site visits including quality controls and support during execution

• Technical consulting for our customers and internal departments

• Assistance in concrete production and support of the operational activities of the recycling plant during low utilization

Your profile

• Completed vocational training in the construction trade

• Further training as a materials tester or comparable qualification

• Solid knowledge in the areas of gravel, concrete, and recycling

• Valid driver's license of category B

• Good German language skills, both spoken and written

• Proficient in common MS Office products

• Independent, reliable, and precise working style

• Enjoyment of customer contact and collaboration with internal and external partners

• Team player with a practical hands-on mentality and enthusiasm for new challenges
