Your Tasks
Customs governance, export compliance, and international cooperation are exactly your area of expertise? Then bring your know-how to us.
With us, you will take responsibility for customs governance and ensure that customs regulations and export-related provisions are implemented in accordance with the law. You will support a strategic framework with clear guidelines for operational areas and implement the directives of the Head of Logistics & Export within the organization. As a competent contact person, you will assist our European supply chain areas with all customs-related questions. This includes HS classification, customs valuation, origin calculation, import and export processes, as well as export controls and trade sanctions. Additionally, you will advise our sister organizations (including China, India, and the USA) on customs procedures, preference calculations, tariff classification of goods, and handling dual-use items. You will analyze and optimize transport and shipping costs and continuously identify savings potential. In doing so, you will promote the use of free trade agreements and other customs simplification procedures, contributing to efficient and economical processes. Together with the production, purchasing, and customer service departments, you will maintain relevant master data – especially regarding supplier and material origins as well as material HS codes. Your diverse range of tasks will be rounded off by your solid knowledge in letter of credit business. You will recognize risks in international trade early and initiate appropriate countermeasures.

because you have several years of experience in export, foreign trade, as well as in customs governance and customs regulations. This includes knowledge in preference calculation, export control, and the application of customs regulations.
because you navigate confidently in intercultural customer relationships and impress with your negotiation skills both in an international environment and when dealing with freight forwarders.
because you have successfully optimized processes and bring solid knowledge in letter of credit business as well as in handling Cash Against Documents (CAD).
because you ideally have experience as a trainer and are characterized by a structured, methodical working style and the ability to convey complex content understandably.
