We are looking for a
Team Leader IT Support & Service Management (80% - 100%)
The IT department of the Burgdorf city administration manages the entire IT landscape of all departments. Due to a retirement and a strategic team restructuring, we are taking new paths: The previously internal data center and infrastructure operations will in the future be outsourced to an external partner.
Your tasks
This newly created position replaces the vacant position and forms the core of our new IT organization. You will lead the internal support team and act as a central interface to our external IT partners. From the outset, you will take on a key role in the conception, design, and establishment of this new, future-oriented outsourcing solution. In ongoing operations, you will coordinate strategic software and system updates, manage the service level agreements, and ensure the smooth operation of our “Modern Workplace”.
Your profile
Training as a computer scientist in systems engineering EFZ or equivalent qualification
Higher technical school with relevant experience or university of applied sciences
Several years of practical experience in the IT system environment as well as initial leadership experience (e.g., as team leader or deputy)
VDI knowledge is an advantage
Independent, structured, and solution-oriented working style
High quality awareness, personal responsibility, communication skills, and flexibility
