Do you want to take on responsibility and actively shape the future of modern production? As a member of the Operations management team, you will proactively drive the Operations area forward. Together with your team, you will shape the industrialization of new products, sustainably anchor Lean principles in the company, and make a decisive contribution to further expanding USTER's world market leader position.
Project Manager Industrial Engineering (m/f/d) 80-100%
Your Tasks
Active design, planning, and implementation of the industrialization of new products in close collaboration with development teams
Development of efficient assembly and logistics concepts as well as procurement of operating resources
Responsible for leading the pre-series phase until successful series transfer
Anchoring the Lean philosophy: Coordination of activities and training, progress monitoring of projects, introduction of an idea management system, standardization of shop floor meetings in the Operations area
Initiation and implementation of optimization projects in production, procurement, quality, and infrastructure
Leading a specialist
Collaboration with our international locations in the USA and China as well as occasional travel activities
Your Background
Technical degree (FH/ETH) in production engineering, mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, or comparable
Several years of experience in industrialization and project management in an industrial environment
Solid knowledge in Lean Management, Industrial Engineering, automation, and digitization as well as in process development methods
Structured, solution-oriented working style and high self-initiative
Convincing team player with good communication skills
Very good MS Office skills as well as experience with ERP systems (preferably IFS)
Very good German and good English skills
