Payroll Specialist 60 - 80 %

Are you looking for a challenging position where you can apply and expand your expertise in payroll? Then you are exactly right with us!

Your area of responsibility

• Payroll | Timely processing of salaries for approximately 1,000 employees (hourly and monthly wage earners), as well as handling all back payments and adjustments in Abacus

• Personnel Administration | Modification and maintenance of employee master data in Abacus

• Social Insurance Topics | Processing and correct handling of sick and accident benefits, family allowances, MSE, VSE, EO, and caregiving leave

• Withholding Tax Processing | Responsibility for maintaining and updating withholding tax rates as well as timely electronic payroll reports (ELM) including correct and timely submission to the tax authorities

• Consultation | Contact person for all payroll and social insurance questions of employees and managers

• Account Reconciliation | Reconciliation of HR accounts with financial accounting to ensure the correct recording of all payroll and social insurance contributions

• Correspondence | Written and telephone communication with authorities and social insurance institutions

• Time Recording | Control and correction of employee time recording data

Your qualifications and skills

• Professional Experience | A completed basic training with solid professional experience in payroll/accounting is required

• Professional Qualification | Ideally, you have further training in payroll or social insurance

• Work Style and Precision | You have a strong understanding of numbers and are characterized by a precise working method. High quality standards and the ability to work accurately even in complex situations are a matter of course for you

• IT Affinity | You have very good MS Office skills and ideally also solid Abacus knowledge that you can effectively use in your daily work

• Process Optimization | You have a strong interest in the digitalization of processes and the continuous optimization of workflows

• Independence and Responsibility | Reliability and enjoyment of independent work characterize you. You like to take responsibility and work with a high degree of precision and care
