Who we are – Working in the youth village

The youth village in Knutwil, in the canton of Lucerne, is a socio-educational institution that implements civil and criminal measures for highly behavioral-disturbed male adolescents and young adults between 14 and 25 years old.

Employees of the youth village accompany the young people on their way to a self-responsible life.

Our work is characterized by a positive attitude towards life, appreciation, and genuine interest in the development of the young people. We work according to systemic and group-centered principles. In doing so, we promote and support the personal, social, and professional skills of the young people.

In the youth village, various professional groups come together and work collaboratively and across departments. We live a participative leadership style characterized by mutual trust and respect, continuously educate ourselves, and create the conditions with our expertise, experience, and structures to achieve the goals.

• Qualification as a painter EFZ

• Several years of professional experience

• Clean and independent working style

• Enjoyment in working with socially challenged youth

• Team-oriented personality

• High resilience

• Good German language skills, both spoken and written

• Driving license category B
