Here, everything revolves around the exciting world of the unique, movable bridge: from assembly, operation, maintenance to dismantling – we are the professionals who ensure that everything runs smoothly. From spring to autumn, you will be on night missions to relocate the bridge to its new location on Switzerland's national road network. Where to? That remains exciting! In the winter months, we focus on the revision of the bridge, which takes place at the workshop in Oensingen and at our storage site in Oftringen.

What you will rock

• Your core business involves repairs, revisions, and maintenance work on the ASTRA Bridge.

• You operate the ASTRA Bridge safely and reliably – at night and during operations outside regular working hours.

• As a subject matter expert, you train and support the assembly and dismantling teams and ensure a smooth process.

• With your expertise, you contribute to the operational readiness, safety, and further development of the ASTRA Bridge.

What you can do and who you are

• As a trained mechanic/mechatronics technician, you have solid technical knowledge and practical experience in handling heavy machinery.

• You combine mechanical and electronic know-how and bring extensive knowledge in vehicle and automotive electronics. Additionally, you have a deep understanding of the complex systems of modern vehicles and their control technology.

• You are reliable: you enjoy working in a team, consider the opinions of others, and at the same time, you are confident and assertive.

• Even in hectic situations, you keep a cool head. Challenges motivate you, and you approach tasks analytically, independently, and with the necessary persistence.

• Your German language skills are fluent and impeccable in both spoken and written form. English skills ideally round off your profile.
