Chief Installer: German-speaking Switzerland Rail (m/f/d) 100%

In this responsible role, you and the installation team will be responsible for challenging construction sites, coordinating all work on-site, and ensuring, together with your group, a safe, timely, and high-quality implementation of our projects.

Your challenges

• Commissioning and monitoring the execution of work by the installation teams in terms of timing, quality, safety, and economic aspects

• Daily updating of the installation journal, BTB, and if necessary, management reports (personnel, vehicles, hours, day/night, order number)

• Coordination and collaboration with other specialist services on-site

• Technical and personnel leadership of employees (including training and assessment)

• Supporting the construction manager in project implementation and reporting construction deviations or changes in execution to the construction manager/project manager

• Reporting identified technical defects in overhead line systems, equipment, machines, and vehicles to the supervisory authority

• Operating rail vehicles (at least VTE 10) including operating the associated work equipment and maintaining the vehicle report

Your profile

• Several years of professional experience in the field of overhead lines or training as a network electrician

• Driving license category B, truck and rail vehicles are an advantage

• Accustomed to working at night

• Very good German language skills required, French language skills are an advantage

• Team player, independent and structured working style, as well as the ability to take responsibility and set priorities
