Product & Portfolio Manager: Tactical Medicine (80% - 100%)
As a Product & Portfolio Manager, you will bear the strategic and operational responsibility for our tactical medicine product portfolio – focusing on innovation and lifecycle management. You actively shape our product and service offerings and align them with market needs and corporate goals. To this end, you work closely in interdisciplinary teams, define the innovation pipeline, manage the innovation process, and develop value propositions. You are responsible for the global implementation of product strategies, create business cases, and manage product P&Ls. In global product launches, you take the lead – from idea to implementation – and manage product extensions as well as lifecycle initiatives. You also contribute to the supply chain strategy and make strategic decisions together with marketing, sales, product development, and purchasing. Supporting due diligence processes and integrating collaborations and acquisitions in close coordination with the overall strategy round off your portfolio of tasks.
Competencies:
Several years of experience in product management, preferably in a company with its own production, research, and development
Strong project management skills with a commercial and goal-oriented mindset
Completed business studies or studies with a scientific or technical focus or solid professional experience in a comparable field
Experience working with national/international emergency, aid, or defense organizations is very helpful, no hesitation in a military environment
Hands-on mentality with a strong understanding of technology, product development, and production processes
Willingness to travel, your travel activity is around 10% due to customer and partner visits as well as participation in international congresses, trade fairs, and events
Very good German and English skills
