Production Carpenter with Team Leader Function 100%

Stahel + Köng AG processes wood for the production of profile strips for window construction (glass strips, muntins, etc.), handrails, stretcher frames, picture rails, and much more. Our passion is precision with wood. With our modern groove technology, we produce high-quality standard strips and custom products for the European market.

We are looking for reinforcement for our team in the production of groove strips and special semi-finished products made of solid wood and offer varied activities around the contemporary profiling of wooden strips in a versatile small company with 35 employees. In this role, you will lead our carpenter team (about 5 people) in the finishing department and apply your skills in our final processing.

The position will be filled immediately or by agreement.

Your main tasks are:

• Leading and coordinating a 5-person team

• Continuous optimization and ensuring our internal processes in your area of responsibility

• Quality assurance & machine maintenance

• Manufacturing and processing profile rods and small wooden parts on customer orders

• Coordinating deadlines with other involved departments

• Implementing innovative ideas for the production of special semi-finished products

What you bring:

• Completed apprenticeship/continuing education as a carpenter EFZ

• Leadership experience

• Experience in processing solid wood

• Good physical condition

• Good technical understanding

• Good German language skills in spoken and written form

• Independent and structured work
