University degree (MSc or PhD from ETH, EPFL, university or FH) in computer science, data science, geoinformatics/GIS or a similar field (degree obtained less than 18 months before starting the position)
Initial experience with data analysis, data science, and artificial intelligence, as well as basic knowledge of Python programming
Interest in questions that connect geology and modern information technologies
Good self-organization and willingness to learn
Active knowledge of two official languages as well as English
