The Building Department is responsible for the planning and supervision of new constructions, renovations, extensions, and the maintenance of public buildings. The building permit procedures and the provision of information to prospective builders are also part of the responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the comprehensive processing of building permit applications as well as the issuance of building permits and statements

• Initiation of building police procedures

• Processing of appeals and complaint procedures in collaboration with the legal service

• Advising applicants and providing information on building law issues

• Support in conducting building inspections and legal requirements

Expectations

• Bachelor's degree in architecture, urban planning, or building design with several years of professional experience

• Several years of professional experience or willingness to further educate in this area

• Understanding of legal processes in the construction industry

• Structured and confident written expression

• Good communication skills
