Security Engineer (80 – 100%)

Your Tasks

• You actively develop our security and monitoring landscape and take the lead on security projects.

• You are responsible for the evaluation, operation, and continuous optimization of our IT security solutions.

• You analyze security risks, monitor IT systems, and create practical security and operational concepts.

• You support governance and security committees in risk analyses, security operations, and data security.

• You evaluate and implement modern on-premises and cloud security solutions.

• You contribute to system design and IT architecture and drive the automation of security operations and monitoring.

Your Profile

• You have a degree in computer science (EFZ, HF, FH, or comparable) with a focus on IT or security.

• You bring several years of experience as a security engineer, ideally in an enterprise environment.

• You have solid knowledge in the areas of vulnerability management, hardening, security monitoring, and incident management.

• You are well acquainted with established security standards such as CIS, NIST, BSI, and ISO 27001.

• You have practical experience with security technologies in Microsoft, Linux, and VMware environments.

• IT security certifications such as CISSP, SC-100, CEH, or comparable qualifications are an advantage.

• You have very good German and good English skills.
