Ekkharthof is an anthroposophically oriented institution in the canton of Thurgau, offering educational, living, working, and employment opportunities for children, adolescents, and adults.

In the branch Sonnenlinde, 15 adults with cognitive impairments live in two residential groups. Sonnenlinde is located in the municipality of Berg (about 5 km from the main location in Lengwil) and offers an integrated daily structure with the "Wirkstatt".

We are looking for an agreement for a

Social Educator (HF, FH) 
for branch management     
Workload: 100%

Your tasks

• Overall management of the branch (professional, personnel, and organizational)  

• Leadership, support, and further development of the team 

• Active further development of the offerings

• Ensuring quality support for residents in daily life and in the daily structure

• Participation in care on a small scale

• Collaboration with relatives, authorities, and external partners 

• Representation of the branch in the municipality and surroundings

• Implementation and application of supported communication 

What you bring

• Degree in Social Education FH/HF, Special Education, or comparable training 

• Leadership training

• Leadership experience and joy in developing people and teams 

• A respectful and resource-oriented basic attitude, shaped by the principles of the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities

• Experience in supporting people with cognitive impairments 

• Independent, structured, and responsible working style 

• Strong social competence as well as high resilience and team orientation

• Willingness to work flexible hours and on-call duties 

• Proficient in IT   

• Interest in anthroposophically oriented social therapy
