The IT department is the overall IT service provider for all businesses and departments of the municipality of Davos and operates the entire ICT infrastructure with all applications.

Application Manager / System Administrator (80 - 100 %)

Responsibilities

• Ensure, monitor, and maintain data of ongoing application, server, and workplace operations including the ongoing updating of documentation

• Installation, operation, and maintenance of various specialized applications (e.g. Abacus, InnosolvCity, CMI, Web management, etc.), server and workplace systems based on Microsoft, VMware, Veeam, as well as peripheral devices

• Consultation, support, and training of users at the service desk and in projects

• Coordination of application updates and extensions

• Participation in the further development of applications, processes, server systems, and workplaces

Expectations

• Completed basic training in the field of computer science or comparable qualification

• Good basic knowledge of Microsoft environments and various ICT systems

• Motivated, independent, structured, solution-oriented, and team-oriented working style

• Fluent German skills, good technical English skills

• Driving license category A1 or B
