Your Tasks

In this key role, you will further develop IT as a strategic partner for teaching, research, and administration. As a member of the university management, you will strategically, organizationally, and financially lead a department with around 120 employees.

You:

• are responsible for a stable and secure IT operation

• further develop IT, digitalization, and governance strategies

• manage transformation and digitalization initiatives

• connect operations, innovation, and strategic development

• drive new technologies such as AI, data, and platform solutions

• promote clear responsibilities and cross-departmental collaboration

• represent the area in university management and set strategic impulses

Your Profile

• University degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a comparable field

• solid leadership and transformation experience in the IT and digitalization environment

• strong understanding of IT as a central enabler of modern organizations

• experience in transformation, digitalization, and OE projects

• knowledge in IT governance, portfolio management, and modern IT architectures

• high communication, integration, and implementation skills

• experience in the university or educational environment is an advantage
