The Schürmatt Foundation is a competence center for unique special educational services in the canton of Aargau. We employ around 440 employees at 13 locations. The majority are involved in the education, support, and care of people with disabilities.

We are looking for a competent individual to join us immediately or by agreement at our Aarau location as

Speech Therapist
Workload 50 - 80 %

Your main tasks

• You design the speech therapy offerings for school and kindergarten children together with the specialist team

• You contribute to the improvement of language acquisition strategies through individual support and promotion of the children

• You work with children and adolescents in a therapeutic setting and become part of the interdisciplinary team with specialists from special education, social pedagogy, and medical therapies

• You conduct assessments and therapies for children as well as consultations for parents and other caregivers

What you bring

• You have a recognized speech therapy diploma in Switzerland (EDK recognition)

• You are used to working independently, responsibly, and results-oriented

• You appreciate structured work environments

• You enjoy interdisciplinary collaboration and have skill in working with children

• Good IT user skills (Office 365)
