For our locations in Steffisburg or Frauenfeld, we are looking for you as a Subproject Manager Electrical Engineering.

Your future area of responsibility

• Technical responsibility for subprojects in the field of electrical engineering (optional fluid) within demanding mechanical engineering projects

• Independent planning, coordination, and implementation of work packages across multiple projects

• Commissioning, management, and quality control of external engineering services

• Ensuring compliance with deadlines, quality, and budget in the order processing within the area of responsibility

• Deriving and implementing functional and process-related customer requirements into electrical and automation concepts

• Creation and review of electrical and fluid diagrams according to applicable standards and regulations

• Planning and design of electrical and pneumatic functions as well as evaluation of subsystems

• Conducting and supporting risk assessments (functional safety)

• Active participation, further development, and optimization of technical standards and engineering processes

Why you will succeed

• Technical education (HF/FH/University) in electrical engineering or comparable

• Several years of experience in electrical design/automation in mechanical engineering

• Experience in technical responsibility for projects or larger work packages as well as in the coordination of subprojects (e.g., as a Senior Engineer)

• Experience in collaboration with external partners including commissioning, management, and control of engineering services as well as the ability to handle multiple projects in a structured manner

• Solid knowledge of relevant standards and guidelines (Machinery Directive, functional safety)

• Structured, independent, and solution-oriented working style with a strong sense of responsibility

• Good knowledge of EPLAN or comparable CAE systems

• Very good German and English skills
