Social Worker: Crisis Intervention & Housing First (60 %)
Would you like to contribute to supporting the population of Winterthur? The housing assistance of the Social Services promotes housing integration through transitional housing and individual support. From July 2026 or by arrangement, we are looking for reinforcement for crisis intervention, as a contact person for social, medical, and police authorities as well as in the Housing First pilot project.
Your Tasks
Support for clients in situations where the existing network reaches its limits when working with multiply burdened individuals
Assessment of clients' life situations and making inquiries
Creation of action plans and ensuring case management
Regular relationship maintenance with Housing First clients
Outreach crisis intervention
Your Profile
Completed studies in social work (FH/HF), or nursing specialist HF with a focus on psychiatry
Several years of experience working with people in emergency situations
Resilient, flexible, and independent personality with organizational skills and reflective regarding proximity and distance
Strong communication skills in dealing with clients, authorities, and other professionals
Accepting attitude towards addiction, neglect, and alternative life concepts
