Burgdorf is an urban, thriving center in the green with over 17,000 residents and a large catchment area. The Department of Order and Security of the Residents and Security Directorate is responsible for municipal police tasks in the city of Burgdorf.

We are looking for a

Administrative Officer for Order 100%
(uniformed)

Your tasks
You efficiently, expertly, and citizen-friendly handle all administrative police tasks. You monitor stationary traffic and operate the stationary speed measurement devices. Additionally, assisting with official duties and processing markets and events are part of your responsibilities. Based on your suitability, you will handle further specialized areas in the municipal police sector. You will wear a uniform while performing your duties.

Your profile
You preferably have a commercial basic education or a completed vocational training. You possess good knowledge of road traffic legislation or are willing to acquire it. A fluent oral and written expression and good IT skills are a matter of course for you. You hold a driver's license for passenger cars with trailers. You are flexible and willing to work weekends and on-call duties. You are resilient, communicative, and appreciate teamwork.
