Who we are:

Iftest is a Swiss engineering and EMS service provider for key industries. Since 1982, we have been accompanying our customers – from startups to corporations – throughout the entire product lifecycle, from idea to series production.

Your tasks:

• Management of the procurement of electronic components (semiconductors, circuit boards, passive components)

• Providing well-founded decision-making bases for quotations through market analyses of prices and delivery times

• Selection, evaluation, and further development of suppliers (national & international)

• Conducting price and contract negotiations

• Ensuring timely material availability

• Analysis of procurement markets and identification of savings potential

• Active risk management in case of supply bottlenecks, including building alternative sources

• Close collaboration with sales, production, prototyping, and logistics

What you bring:

• Technical basic training, ideally supplemented by further education in purchasing (e.g., technical merchant)

• Several years of experience in purchasing electronic components

• Good technical understanding and confident handling of bills of materials

• Structured, analytical, and solution-oriented working style

• Very good German language skills, both spoken and written, and good English skills

• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., IFS) is an advantage
