Your Role
Automation & Infrastructure as Code
Automation with Ansible: Maintenance and further development of Linux and Linux-related roles, including code reviews and quality standards
Further development of our Infrastructure-as-Code environment (Ansible, GitOps)
Co-design and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments
Container & Cloud-native Technologies
Operation and further development of containerized applications on OpenShift / Kubernetes
Working with ArgoCD and GitOps-based deployment workflows
Platform & System Operations
Operation and management of virtualized Linux (RHEL) environments including lifecycle management of VMs
Operation and maintenance of managed Linux hosts – both on classic VMs and in containerized environments (patching, lifecycle, hardening)
Standardization of new Linux distributions as well as RHEL major upgrades (planning, implementation, documentation)
Monitoring and performance optimization of complex systems and services
Automated installation and maintenance of web applications and databases in coordination with our clients
How is the collaboration as a new member of the Linux Delivery
Close collaboration and coordination with development and specialist teams to continuously develop our IT infrastructure and delivery processes
Support clients in migrating classic VM workloads to container environments
Operation and further development of observability solutions (logging, monitoring, alerting with Zabbix and Grafana)
Your Qualifications in Focus
Must-have
At least 8 years of experience in managing Linux systems (focus on RHEL)
Good to very good German language skills, both spoken and written
High team orientation with good communication skills, even in cross-departmental collaboration
Solid experience in automating system administration tasks (e.g., Ansible, Chef, Salt, etc.)
Experience with GitOps workflows and Infrastructure as Code
All-rounder mentality and willingness for general technical tasks in on-call duty
Experience in operating virtualized server landscapes
Initial experience with container orchestration (Kubernetes / OpenShift / Docker Swarm)
What you can bring
Nice-to-have
Knowledge of CI/CD tools (GitLab CI, Jenkins, ArgoCD)
Familiarity with observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/Graylog)
Experience with secrets management (e.g., HashiCorp Vault, OpenBao, etc.)
